"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always,
even unto the end of the world.    Amen."
Matthew 28:19-20

Announcements

Darwin's Pantry

Darwin’s Pantry is a ministry of our church for those members and non-members who are in need of food. While our shelves are not bare, some items are very low. We have a need at this time for cereal, soup, and canned meats (tuna, chicken, turkey, ham, etc.). Thanks for your help with this ministry.

Lawn Mowing

We need help with mowing the lawn during the summer. If you enjoy working in the yard, we have a great riding lawnmower. A sign-up sheet is located on the bulletin board across from the office. If you can’t commit to one weekend a month, there are 5th weekends in May and August
Pay off the Mortgage

We’re doing great in our race to Pay off the Mortgage! We quickly crossed our first hurdle of $10,000 and we’re steadily advancing toward the $20,000 hurdle. If you’ve been saving change in the water bottles, continue to do that and bring them in when they are full. If you designate money to Pay off the Mortgage each week or month, please continue to do so. We ask that you prayerfully consider what you can give in addition to your regular tithes and offerings. To date we have collected $18,791, which reduces our goal to less than $30,466.

Bring Your Used Ink Cartridges to Church

The church will receive a $3.00 credit towards future spending at Staples for each used ink cartridge returned to the store. If you normally throw your empty cartridges away, consider bringing them to the church and we’ll be happy to take them to the store for recycling.
Missionary Moments
“Plowing concrete” is nothing new to STEVE and APRIL BROWN. Hearts are hard in the Czech Republic, but breakthroughs are happening. April met Lucie in a park. When Lucie spoke about her involvement in the occult, April shared the truth of Jesus. Lucie regularly comes to the Brown’s Bible study. During an Easter egg hunt close to their house, another woman named Lucie strolled past. She knew about the Bible study, but explained that she wasn’t into the “God thing.” Steve was floored to learn that Lucie had bought her first Bible the day before their conversation because she thought the Bible would be a good place to begin to know about God. God is using your continued support through the Cooperative Program to soften hearts in the Czech Republic. Pray for both Lucies as they learn about God.
